MyKids Info - Mobile Simplified

"MyKids" is a Family Information Manager for Parents that helps you keep track of your kids day-to-day activities, medical information, important contacts such as teachers or doctors and all other information relevant for your children.

Every great Parent keeps this information for their children somewhere, and now you have an app built just for this purpose.

Any feedback regarding "MyKids" would be greatly welcomed on email. If you like it or you think something needs to be changed or if you have ideas for additional features, please email me. I would like to make this a tool that is useful for you to use.

INSTRUCTIONS:
There are three main panels: Kids List, Common Items and Weekly Schedule. Each of these panels can be edited by pressing the Edit button in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Once in edit mode you can add/delete/change and reorder the items anyway you want. When done with editing, just press the Done button in the upper right corner of the screen.

When working in the Kids List, you can press on each Kid and it will take you to a Personal page just for that child. Once there you can setup the birthday, add/modify the two important list items that show up on the main screen for the child, and also change their picture from a boy/girl icon to any picture on your iphone/ipod. Also in this Personal Page, you can add as many personal items for that child as well. Again, just by pressing the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen, you can add/delete/change and reorder all of the personal list items. There you can keep track of things like Clothing Sizes, Allergies, Current Medications, Doctors/Dentists appointments and others. Remember to press the Done button in the upper right hand corner of the screen when done editing.

I added a cool animation to the opening of the app. If you don't like the animation, you can turn it off in the setup screen. Also in the setup screen, you can turn on a password if you want to password protect your app. These settings are also available in the Settings App on your device, so in case you forget your password, you can change it there.

Always remember to reset your iPhone/iPod when installing new applications. Also remember to backup your iPhone/iPod during your sync with iTunes to keep a backup of all your information.
